Abstract (en)
The aggregates (7) are brought continuously into a drying and mixing installation (1) at a point at which the binder is injected. The adjustment process consists in measuring the flow in terms of weight of aggregates (T) at a weighing point (11) outside the drying and mixing installation (1). The flow of binder necessary for coating the flow of aggregates measured and the transfer time of the aggregates between the weighing point (11) and the injection point are determined. Finally, injection is effected as a function of the flow and of the transfer time determined. During the startup and shutdown stages of the installation, the determined flow of bituminous binder is injected with a staggering over time greater than the transfer time of the aggregates (7) and in a progressive manner. <IMAGE>
