Abstract (en)
The ribbed steel rod with high adherence, particularly for concrete reinforcements, which is deformed by cold rolling and provided, by cold working, with ribs which are inclined with respect to the axis of the rod and disposed between narrow longitudinal straight portions which are not ribbed, comprises four narrow longitudinal straight portions which are not ribbed (101 to 104) between which are disposed four series (105 to 108) of ribs (110) inclined with respect to the axis (100) of the rod (11). Whatever the series of ribs (101 to 104) may be, the ribs (110) of two adjacent series (101, 102; 102, 103; 103, 104; 104, 101) are offset in the axial direction and are oriented such that they have the same angular deviation i with respect to the axis (100) of the rod (11) but in different directions in order to exhibit a herring-bone pattern. The general symmetries of the ribbed rod with respect to its mutually perpendicular axes are increased and, in particular, allow better accuracy of construction. <IMAGE>
