Abstract (en)
The protective cover for a lock passing through the cupboard door of exterior cupboards has a flat box (1) with a plane bottom face (2) which is intended for bearing against the outside of the door and in which a clearance (3) for access to the lock is formed. A hinged lid (10) articulated pivotably on the box (1) has an internally arranged peg (14) with a hook-shaped peg end (15). This engages behind a leaf spring (7), fastened on edge in the box (1), at the lower edge of the leaf spring when the hinged lid is closed. By means of an edge recess (19) in a lower side wall (18) of the box (1), the leaf spring (7) can be pressed inwards by means of a tool, to make it possible to open the hinged lid. The protective cover protects the lock of exterior cupboards against weather effects. <IMAGE>

Die Schutzabdeckung für ein an Aussenschränken die Schranktür durchsetzendes Schloss weist ein flaches Kästchen (1) mit einer zur Anlage gegen die Türaussenseite bestimmten ebenen Bodenfläche (2) auf, in der eine Aussparung (3) für den Zugang zum Schloss ausgebildet ist. Ein am Kästchen (1) schwenkbar angelenkter Klappdekkel (10) weist einen innenseitig angeordneten Zapfen (14) mit einem hakenförmigen Zapfenende (15) auf. Dieser hintergreift eine im Kästchen (1) hochkant befestigte Blattfeder (7) am unteren Blattfederrand, wenn der Klappdeckel geschlossen ist. Durch eine Randausnehmung (19) in einer unteren Seitenwand (18) des Kästchens (1) lässt sich mittels eines Werkzeuges die Blattfeder (7) einwärts drükken, um den Klappdeckel öffnen zu können. Die Schutzabdeckung schützt das Schloss von Aussenschränken gegen Witterungseinflüsse.
