The invention relates to a fastening device for a wrist strap 1 on the housing of a wristwatch. It has a crosspiece which can be guided through mutually coaxial recesses, transverse to the longitudinal direction of the strap, in a connection piece 3 of the housing 2 and in one end of the wrist strap. The connection piece 3 has an opening 10 which intersects the cutout 5 approximately at right angles and into which a locking piece 11 can be inserted. The locking piece extends through a locking cutout designed transverse to the longitudinal direction of the strap on the crosspiece and is positively and non-positively connected to the crosspiece. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Befestigungsvorrichtung für ein Armband 1 an dem Gehäuse einer Armbanduhr. Sie besitzt einen Quersteg, der durch zueinander koaxiale Ausnehmungen quer zur Bandlängsrichtung in einem Anschlußstück 3 des Gehäuses 2 sowie in einem Ende des Armbandes hindurchführbar ist. Das Anschlußstück 3 weist eine etwa rechtwinklig die Ausnehmung 5 schneidende Öffnung 10 auf, in die ein Verriegelungsstück 11 einsetzbar ist. Das Verriegelungsstück durchragt eine quer zur Bandlängsrichtung am Quersteg ausgebildete Arretierungsausnehmung und ist kraft- und formschlüssig mit dem Quersteg verbunden.
