[origin: EP0400220A1] A laminated article containing visible information which article comprises two plastic resin sheets or layers at least one of which is transparent and having laminated inbetween at least one hydrophilic colloid layer containing photographically produced information and carrying or containing thermochromic liquid crystals of the cholesteric type in the form of a pattern or an indicium that can be made visible or obtains a change in colour by heating above 25 DEG C, said liquid crystals being arranged against a contrasting background having an optical density of at least 0.2 in its spectral absorption range.
