Ball-throwing machines are an indispensable training aid within the entire range of popular sports. This applies to tennis, table tennis, squash or even football. The disadvantages of today's systems lie in their constructional size. This constructional size is due to the methods used today to achieve high projection speeds and the spin. Whereas 2-disc systems are used today, the present invention is based on one disc or, alternatively, a circulating striker with counterweights. In order to keep the constructional size small, the energy for the projection, on the one hand, and the spin, on the other hand, is produced in different system components. This enables a spin to be produced in all directions. Furthermore, the system is fitted with a comprehensive sensor and electronic system. The microcomputers used allow any desired ball expulsion combinations or combination sequences to be programmed. The system can be operated by remote control. It allows a completely automatic ball change due to the integration of a ball projection sensor and a ball input sensor. The system can be manufactured economically and supplies a very large market. Since it can be made extremely compact owing to the method used, its acceptance in the market will be extremely high. <IMAGE>

Ballwurfmaschinen sind im gesamten Bereich des Massensports ein unverzichtbares Trainingshilfsmittel. Dies gilt sowohl für Tennis, Tischtennis, Squash oder sogar Fußball. Um die Baugröße solcher Ballwurfmachinen gering halten zu können ist erfindungsgemäss vorgesehen, die Energie für den Abflug einerseits und den Spin andererseits in unterschiedlichen Systemkomponenten (2-8; 14) aufzubringen. Der Ballabwurf erfolgt dabei mit Hilfe eines Reibrades (2) oder eines umlaufenden Schlages während der Spineffekt mit Hilfe von am Abflugkanal angebrachter Rollwielerrstände (14) erzeugt wird. Ein Spin in allen Richtungen wird dadurch möglich. Darüberhinaus wird das System mit einer umfangreichen Sensorik und Elektronik bestückt. Durch die eingesetzten Mikrorechner können beliebige Ballabwurfkombinationen oder Kombinationsfolgen programmiert werden. Das System ist fernsteuerbar. Es ermöglicht einen vollautomatischen Ballwechsel durch die Integration eines Ballabflugsensors und eines Ballankunftssensors.
