Abstract (en)
A fitting (1) for a door, window or the like, the casement (3) of which partially covers the fixed frame (4) and opens by pivoting, comprises: a) articulated lower compass arms (16) imparting to the casement (3) at any start of opening a path with vertical components; b) and upper articulation elements (7) capable of simultaneously projecting outwards the upper crossmember (12) of said casement (3) during the substantially vertical displacement of the latter. <??>To make it easier to control the opening and closing of this door, window or the like, the fitting is equipped, furthermore, with assistance means (17), on the one hand for pushing the casement (3) vertically upwards at the end of closing and on the other hand for positioning and centring this casement (3) simultaneously in relation to the fixed frame (4). <IMAGE>
