[origin: WO9000380A1] Waterproof protective goggles (10) are provided to protect and shield the eyes of a person during participation in water sports activities and the like. The goggles comprise a unitary transparent visor or lens (14) adapted for wraparound, substantially uninterrupted field of view with peripheral vision. The visor carries a sealing structure (16, 26) on its periphery at the inboard side thereof to fit in substantial sealing conformance with the contours of a wearer's face. A headband (18) draws the visor against the wearer's face.
