[origin: EP0401425A1] The invention relates to a device for fastening brooches, sports badges, buttons and the like to articles of clothing by means of a mechanical interlocking fastener for removable buttons which has automatic distance adjustment and which cannot come loose as a result of vibrations, pressure and pulling. It is characterised in that it consists of a fastening pin (1), a closure sleeve (2), upper semicircular guide jaws (3), a compression spring (4), semicircular guide jaws (5) which are of hollow cylindrical construction at the bottom, coupling straps (6), guide slots (7) and a guide lid with holding pins (8). The object of the present invention is to provide an interlocking fastener for removable items of jewellery of all types, which fastener can only be coupled and uncoupled when required using only a few manipulations. <IMAGE>
