Abstract (en)
In a strap binding machine the grip means to hold a free end portion of the strap (3) whilst it is tensioned and bonded to itself includes a jaw (6) and a stationary part of a cutter (5). These parts include intermeshing projections (5A min , 6A min ) which form the free end portion of the strap into a serpentine shape with a number of concave and convex portions (U,V).
