Abstract (en)
The snowboard has two bindings, arranged one after the other at a significant angle to the longitudinal axis (45), for two boots (31). Each binding comprises a board plate (17), attached to the board (11), and a boot plate (21) which can be fixedly attached to the boot (31). Both plates (17, 21) are drawn into fixed contact against one another by means of elastic tensioning means (24, 25, 26, 27), arranged essentially centrally in the front and rear region. The elasticity of the elastic tensioning means is dimensioned in such a way that, in the case of excessive loadings on the legs of the user, the boot plate (21) can be rotated relative to the board plate (17) laterally, towards the front and towards the rear and about a vertical axis (33). <IMAGE>

Ein Schneegleitbrett weist zwei hintereinander unter einem deutlichen Winkel zur Längsachse (45) angeordnete Bindungen für zwei Stiefel (31) auf. Jede Bindung umfaßt eine auf dem Brett (11) befestigte Brettplatte (17) und eine fest mit dem Stiefel (31) verbindbare Schuhplatte (21). Beide Platten (17, 21) sind durch im vorderen und hinteren Bereich im wesentlichen mittig angeordnete elastische Zugmittel (24, 25, 26, 27) in feste Anlage gegeneinander gezogen. Die Elastizität der elastischen Zugmittel ist so bemessen, daß bei übermäßigen Beanspruchungen der Beine des Benutzers die Schuhplatte (21) relativ zur Brettplatte (17) seitlich, nach vorne und nach hinten sowie um eine Hochachse (33) verdreht werden kann.
