The object of the invention is to simplify the switchover from operation with a central tool (3) to with two tools (3) per drawing station arranged in parallel in the material feed direction. In both operating modes, the counterforce applied during the descent of the ram is applied at each of the four corners of the pressure cheeks (9) via flexible pads.
