Locking device with a lock cylinder (2) mounted rotatably in a housing (3) and equipped with a key channel (3), into which engages at least one detent part (4) which is under the effect of a radially acting detent spring (5) and which, as a result of the insertion of the associated key (6), comes, counter to the effect of the detent spring, (5) out of a blocking position into an actuating position, in which the lock cylinder (2) can be moved into a locking position or into an opening position and resumes a blocking position as result of the withdrawal of the key (6). This device is to consist of only a few parts which can be easily assembled. Consequently, the lock cylinder (2) is axially displaceable counter to the effect of a return spring (7), and the detent part (4) allows the axial moveability of the lock cylinder (2) when the key (6) is inserted and blocks it when the key (6) is removed. The lock cylinder (2) is moveable as result of axial displacement and rotation, for example through 90 DEG , from an opening position into a locking position, or vice versa, and in both positions engages axially in catch recesses (9, 30) by means of a catch projection (32). <IMAGE>

Schließvorrichtung mit einem in einem Gehäuse (3) drehbar gelagerten Schließzylinder (2), der mit einem Schlüsselkanal (3) versehen ist, in den mindestens ein unter der Wirkung einer radial wirkenden Sperrfeder (5) stehendes Sperrteil (4) eingreift, das durch Einstecken des zugehörigen Schlüssels (6) gegen die Wirkung der Sperrfeder (5) aus einer Sperrstellung in eine Betätigungsstellung gelangt, in welcher der Schließzylinder (2) in eine Schließstellung oder in eine Öffnungsstellung bewegbar ist und das durch Herausziehen des Schüssels (6) wieder in eine Sperrstellung gelangt. Diese Vorrichtung soll aus nur wenigen, leicht montierbaren Teilen bestehen. Deshalb ist der Schließzylinder (2) gegen die Wirkung einer Rückstellfeder (7) axial verschiebbar und das Sperrteil (4) gibt die axiale Beweglichkeit des Schließzylinders (2) bei eingeschobenem Schlüssel (6) frei und sperrt bei herausgenommenem Schlüssel (6). Der Schließzylinder (2) ist durch axiales Verschieben und Drehen um beispielsweise 90° von einer Öffnungsstellung in eine Schließstellung oder umgekehrt bewegbar und rastet in beiden Stellungen mit einem Rastvorsprung (32) in Rastausnehmungen (9,30) axial ein.
