[origin: EP0401860A2] The invention relates to the automatic design of a working region of spinning or twisting machines for the automatic supply of roving bobbins and removal of the tubes. For this, in one version of the invention, the roving bobbins are supplied on special bobbin carriers or by transport chains and are transferred by means of these bobbin carriers to the rotating transport chains of the spinning or twisting machines. In a further version of the invention, for transferring the roving bobbins there is a special moveable industrial robot with gripper elements which takes the roving bobbins from specially provided bobbin pallets and transfers them to the rotating chain. <IMAGE>
