Abstract (en)
A washing machine, comprising a substantially cylindrical horizontal tub (13) containing the washing liquid, inside which rotates a peripherally perforated drum (20) containing the washing, is provided from below, tightly fitted in correspondence with an aperture (14) in the lateral wall of the tub (13), with a washing liquid recycling device (10). Said device (10) comprises a recycling path, passing through said aperture (14), which extracts the liquid from the bottom of the tub (13), by means of a pump (23), and discharges it from a delivery duct (12) with its upper end close to the drum (20) so as to direct a jet of liquid against the washing through the holes in the drum (20). The casing of the device (10) may be provided with fittings to connect the pipes of the hydraulic system of the washing machine leading towards the inside of the tub (13) through said casing, and with housings for positioning thermostats for measuring the temperature of the flow circulating through the device (10), so as to limit the number of holes and connections in the tub (13). A heating element may also be provided inside the device (10) to heat the washing liquid.
