[origin: EP0402618A2] The invention relates to a rotary potentiometer having a rotary body (1), which has sliding contacts (32) on its rear side and two pins (3, 4) on its front side (10) whose axes are parallel to the rotation axis (5) of the rotary body (1) and are arranged opposite one another with respect to the rotation axis (5), and having a driving means, consisting of a bar (8) which is mounted on a shaft (7) which can rotate concentrically with respect to the rotary body rotation axis and strikes in each case with its ends against an outer side in a contact region of a pin (3, 4) and hence is able to transmit a torque from the shaft (7) to the rotary body (1).
