Eine Schwingkolbenpresse mit einem ungleichförmig hin- und herbewegbaren Preßkolben (6) arbeitet mit Förderzinken (20) zusammen, die von einem Kurbelschwingengetriebe (22, 23) mittels elliptischer Zahnräder (30, 31) so entlang einer nierenförmigen Umlaufbahn (26) geführt werden, daß sie im Bereich der Einfüllöffnung (10) des Materials in den Preßkanal (4) eine schnelle Bewegung ausführen. In Verbindung mit einem Aufgaberaum (11) in einem stationären Preßraumgehäuse (1) dient die Schwingkolbenpresse insbesondere zum Pressen von Kartonagenabfällen.
