[origin: EP0402816A1] The grandstand (50) has a supporting structure (51) which is formed by posts (67), bracing frames (75.1, 75.2), horizontal bars (73), diagonal stays (74) and side walls (62, 63, 64, 65, 66). Floor members (52) are supported thereon. Railings (55, 58) can be provided. The side walls are arranged, given equal lengths of the linear basic-grid dimension, at different inclinations, so that grandstands adapted to the particular circumstances and having good visibility conditions can be constructed from basic elements usable according to a unit construction system. <IMAGE>
