Abstract (en)
The bar-shaped thread-guide element (10) for textile machines, especially as a loom heald, consists of compact thermoplastic reinforced with industrial filament fibres. The fibre reinforcement consists of a braided tube (2), and an eye orifice (6) is formed by a widening of the braided fibre strands (3). These thread-guide elements are substantially lighter than previous steel healds. By means of a two-stage thermoplastic process, moreover, they can be produced very simply and cost-effectively and in almost any shapes. <IMAGE>

Das stabförmige Fadenführungselement (10) für Textilmaschinen, insbesondere als Weblitze, besteht aus mit technischen Endlosfasern verstärktem, kompaktem, thermoplastischem Kunststoff. Die Faserverstärkung besteht aus einem geflochtenen Schlauch (2), und eine Augenöffnung (6) ist durch Aufweitung der geflochtenen Faserstränge (3) gebildet. Diese Fadenführungselemente sind wesentlich leichter als bisherige Stahllitzen. Mit einem zweistufigen thermoplastischen Verfahren können sie zudem sehr einfach, kostengünstig und in fast beliebigen Formen hergestellt werden.
