[origin: EP0403430A1] The leasing device of a warping machine comprises a vertically adjustable comb (16), two mutually displaceable guide bars (28, 29) and a horizontally displaceable dividing device (34, 35). At least the comb (16) on the one hand and the two guide bars (28, 29) on the other hand are assigned drive motors (22, 33) which are independent of one another and which can be activated separately. Preferably, a separate drive motor (38) is also provided for the dividing device and a traversing motor (17) for the oscillating movement of the comb (16). The independent drive motors allow the automation and programming of various operating cycles which are necessary for the leasing or for the elimination of yarn breaks. <IMAGE>
