A label to be bonded or sealed on an article is characterised in that it consists of at least three (a, b, c) fields (1) connected to each other in a row by fold lines (2), the third field (c) in the row being folded over in a plane parallel to the second field (b) and being narrower than the second field (b) in the direction perpendicular to the fold lines (2), and the first field (a) in the row being folded over in a plane parallel to the third field (c) and fastened thereto. <IMAGE>

Ein Etikett zum Aufkleben oder Aufsiegeln auf einem Gegenstand ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es aus wenigstens drei (a, b, c) durch Faltlinien (2) in Reihe miteinander verbundenen Feldern (1) besteht, wobei das dritte Feld (c) in der Reihe planparallel auf das zweite Feld (b) umgefaltet und in der Richtung senkrecht zu den Faltlinien (2) schmaler als das zweite Feld (b) ist und das erste Feld (a) in der Reihe planparallel auf das dritte Feld (c) umgefaltet und auf ihm befestigt ist.
