Foldable cellular structure, formed from flexible strips permeable to water, the width of which represents the height of the cells and which are connected at distances apart to adjacent strips, characterised in that tension-proof stabilisation bands are integrated in the cellular structure, which stabilisation bands are arranged rectilinearly and at least virtually parallel to one another when the cellular structure is unfolded. The cellular structure is preferably formed by virtue of the fact that a sheet-like structure permeable to water has been unfolded which is provided with offset sections parallel to one another and of finite length. In a further preferred embodiment, some of the strips are replaced or supplemented by the stabilisation bands in the cellular structure. <IMAGE>

Faltbare Zellenstruktur, gebildet aus wasserdurchlässigen flexiblen Streifen (1), deren Breite die Höhe der Zellen darstellt, und die in Abständen mit benachbarten Streifen verbunden sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in die Zellenstruktur zugfeste Stabilisierungsbänder (2) integriert sind, die bei aufgefalteter Zellenstruktur geradlinig und zumindest nahezu parallel zueinander angeordnet sind. Bevorzugt ist die Zellenstruktur dadurch gebildet, daß ein mit versetzten, zueinander parallelen Schnitten endlicher Länge versehenes, wasserdurchlässiges Flächengebilde aufgefaltet worden ist. In einer weiteren bevorzugten Ausführungsform wird in der Zellenstruktur ein Teil der Streifen durch die Stabilisierungsbänder ersetzt bzw. ergänzt.
