A mixer consists of a mixing container (10) which is conically widened at the top and has a spherical-surface base (28) formed by a rotary head (26). Mounted and sealed off in the rotary head is the mixer-screw shaft (32), which projects from below into the mixing container (10). The rotary head is fastened to a supporting rim (24) which is concentrically mounted in a gear housing (22) on the bottom part of the container. The bottom part consists of a central housing (14) which is flange-mounted on the container and has a top conical section (15) extending the container wall and a bottom cylindrical section (18) which in a cylindrical mating bore seals off the cylindrical outer side (42) of the rotary head by means of mechanical face seals (44). Adjoining the bottom flange of the gear housing (22) is the drive mounting (70, 68) which fully encapsulates all movable parts of the drive. <IMAGE>

Ein Mischer besteht aus einen nach oben konisch erweiterten Mischbehälter (10), der einen von einem Drehkopf (26) gebildeten Kugelflächenboden (28) aufweist. Im Drehkopf ist die Mischerschneckenwelle (32) gelagert und abgedichtet, die von unten in den Mischbehälter (10) hineinragt. Der Drehkopf ist auf einem Tragkranz (24) befestigt, der zentrisch in einem Getriebegehäuse (22) am Behälterunterteil gelagert ist. Letzterer besteht aus einem am Behälter angeflanschten Zentralgehäuse (14) mit einem die Behälter-Wandung fortsetzenden oberen konischen Abschnitt (15) und mit einem unteren zylindrischen Abschnitt (18), der in einer zylindrischen Paßbohrung die zylindrische Außenseite (42) des Drehkopfes durch Gleitringdichtungen (44) abdichtet. Am unteren Flansch des Getriebegehäuses (22) schließt sich die Antriebsverlagerung (70, 68) an, welche alle beweglichen Teile des Antriebes nach außen hin vollständig kapselt.
