[origin: EP0310052A1] The ski brake (1) has brake arms (7) which are made of wire material and the paddles (7e) of which are retracted towards the vertical longitudinal centre plane of the ski brake (1) by means of an actuating element (6) when the pedal (4) is pressed down. The actuating element is constructed as a bent lever (6), the one arm (6a) of which charges the two brake arms (7) and its second arm (6b) rests on the surface (10a) of a ski (10) in the readiness position of the ski brake (1) and presses the two brake arms (7) apart in this region, whereas it presses the two brake paddles (7e) towards each other. Each brake arm (7) is charged by a tension spring (8), which tension springs (8) serve both as installation springs for the entire ski brake (1) and for swivelling the two brake arms (7) as a consequence of their further pre-tensioning. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Skibremse (1) mit aus Drahtmaterial gefertigten Bremsarmen (7), deren Schaufeln (7e) beim Niedertreten des Pedals (4) gegen die vertikale Längsmittelebene der Skibremse (1) mittels eines Betätigungsorgans eingezogen werden. Erfindungsgemäß ist ein Teilabschnitt der Unterseite des Betätigungspedals (4) als Steuerfläche für die beiden Bremsarme (7) ausgebildet, der ein Abstützelelment (2c) an der Grundplatte (2) gegenüberliegt, wobei während des Niedertretens des Betätigungspedals (4) die Schraubenfeder (12) durch die Steuerfläche (4h) beaufschlagt auf dem Abstützelement (2c) gleitet, wobei die Steuerfläche (4h) aus zwei, in Längsrichtung des Betätigungspedals (4) betrachtet, aneinander anschließenden Flächenabschnitten (4h1,4h2) besteht, welche in Zusammenwirkung mit dem Abstützelement (2c) die Lage der Bremsarme (7) in der niedergeschwenkten Stellung bzw. niedergetretenen Stellung (Bereitschafts-stellung) des Betätigungspedals bestimmen.
