Electrical switch of the type comprising a moving contact-holder provided with at least one contact pin (40) and a plate (10) made of an electrically insulating material carrying two sets of electrically conductive pads (20 30, 31) arranged on either side respectively of the path of the pin (40) so that the latter successively connects different pairs of pads (20, 30; 20, 31) during its displacement, characterised in that it includes a low wall (50) made of an electrically insulating material and carried proud on the plate (10) so as to bear laterally on the pin (40) outside its contacting zone (43) and a recess (12) made in the plate (10) beneath the edge of the pads which are contacted by the pin (40), throughout the latter's displacement path. <IMAGE>
