Abstract (en)
The device according to the invention comprises a body (1) comprising a paint feed (1e) and at least one compressed-air feed (1j, 1h) and a diffusion head (2) for spraying the paint in the form of round or flattened jets and is characterised by the fact that the said diffusion head (2) is mounted so as to be fixed to the said body (1) and comprises four air-diffuser pipes (2f) whose outlet orifices (2f to 2f4) are disposed at 90 DEG to one another, the axes of the said pipes converging onto a point O located on the longitudinal axis (Z, Z1) of the head and in front of the latter, and are connected to directional control air-valve means (25, 251) actuated by a control device (40) for directing the air into one or other set of two diametrally opposed pipes and for obtaining flattened jets of vertical or horizontal general orientation or for stopping the air inlet in the pipes and for obtaining round jets. Finds its application, especially, in hand-held paint guns or in remote-controlled and robotised painting equipment. <IMAGE>
