A push-button switch which is suitable for installation on printed- circuit boards experiences an improvement by reducing the size of the space to be sealed in the housing of the switch. The structure according to the invention also allows easily replaceable key caps (1) to be used. An improvement in the operating reliability of the switch is possible as a result of the structure of the cap-shaped object (2) with a central guide collar (2a) which surrounds the bush (4) radially. Silicon elastomers, in particular, have proved themselves as a material for this cap-shaped object (2). <IMAGE>

Ein zum Aufbau auf Leiterplatten geeigneter Drucktastenschalter erfährt eine Verbesserung durch eine Verkleinerung des im Gehäuse des Schalters zu dichtenden Raum. Die erfindungsgemässe Konstruktion erlaubt zudem, leicht auswechselbare Tastenkappen (1) zu verwenden. Eine Erhöhung der Betriebssicherheit des Schalters ist durch die Konstruktion der Kalotte (2) mit einem zentralen Führungskragen (2a), welcher die Buchse (4) radial umschliesst, möglich. Als Material für diese Kalotte (2) haben sich insbesondere Silikonelastomere bewährt.
