[origin: EP0404722A1] A hub (3) is set on the shaft (1) of a motor (2) of the humidifier. Ventilator blades (4, 5) and atomizer disks (6, 8) are attached to the hub (3). Each atomizer disk (6, 8) is surrounded by an atomizer ring (7, 9). Air is fed between the ventilator blades by an air feed (18). Water is fed between the ventilator blades (4, 5) via a water feed pipe (13). One atomizer disk (6, 8), one set of ventilator blades (4, 5) and one atomizer ring (7, 8) form one unit. Either one or two units, as desired, can be placed on the two sides of the motor. The humidifier can be arranged horizontally or vertically. No additional air ventilator is necessary, and the fine mist of water produced is carried away by the air flow and cannot then flow back. No loss of water arises. Air humidifier installations of small dimensions, high performance and high efficiency can be designed. <IMAGE>
