[origin: WO8908282A1] Printing device for printing one or both sides of single sheets fed consecutively by the printing device, comprising a printing channel (DK) with associated printing station (DS) and paper-transporting elements (P). The printing channel (DK) is coupled, on the input and output sides, to paper-transporting elements (P) and a return channel (RF) with a turning arrangement (W1), which, if necessary, returns the one-side printed sheets to the printing station (DS) for printing of the reverse side. The printing channel (DK) is connected to a paper-transporting channel system having paper-transporting elements (P) with separate duplex (DUK) and simplex (SK) channels for transporting separately the one-side or two-side printed single sheets to a common output channel (AK) having a second turning station (W2) for the duplex sheets. The simplex channel (SK) has a magazine which stores a first, one-side printed sheet at least until another two-side printed sheet to be delivered from the output channel before said first sheet has passed along the duplex channel (DUK).

Installation pour l'impression sur un côté ou sur les deux côtés de feuilles séparées introduites séquentiellement dans l'installation, comportant un canal d'impression (DK) auquel est associée une station d'impression (DS) et des éléments de transport du papier (P). Le canal d'impression (DK) est couplé, du côté entrée et du côté sortie, à un canal de retour (RF) comportant des éléments de transport du papier (P) et un dispositif d'inversion (W1) et par lequel les feuilles imprimées sur leur recto peuvent être ramenées, si nécessaire, à la station d'impression (DS) pour l'impression du verso. Le canal d'impression (DK) est relié à un canal de transport du papier présentant des éléments de transport du papier (P) avec un canal duplex (DUK) et un canal simplex (SK) séparés pour le transport séparé des feuilles imprimées des deux côtés ou d'un côté seulement jusqu'à un canal de sortie (AK) commun comportant un deuxième dispositif d'inversion (W2) pour les feuilles duplex. Le canal simplex (SK) présente un magasin qui conserve une première feuille, imprimée d'un seul côté, au minimum jusqu'à ce qu'une autre feuille, imprimée des deux côtés, devant sortir avant cette première feuille par le canal de sortie, ait parcouru le canal duplex (DUK).
