[origin: WO8907271A1] Monoclonal antibodies or immunoreactive monoclonal antibody fragments specific for naturally occurring binding proteins are used to form a monoclonal antibody-binding protein complex by which to detect a ligand in a variety of immuoassay formats. These antibodies or fragments can be labeled or unlabeled and when they are unlabeled then the unlabeled antibody or fragment is reacted with a labeled antibody specific for the unlabeled antibody or fragment. This approach preserves the inherent affinity of the binding protein for the ligand.

On utilise des anticorps monoclonaux ou des fragments d'anticorps monoclonaux immunoréactifs spécifiques contre des protéines de liaison se produisant naturellement, afin de former un complexe anticorps monoclonaux-protéines de liaison par lequel on peut détecter un ligand dans une variété de formats d'immunoanalyses. Ces anticorps ou fragments peuvent être marqués, et lorsqu'ils ne sont pas marqués, on fait réagir l'anticorps ou le fragment non marqués avec un anticorps marqué spécifique contre l'anticorps ou le fragment non marqués. Cette approche préserve l'affinité inhérente de la protéine de liaison pour le ligand.
