[origin: EP0405035A1] - The present invention relates to a device permitting the adjustment of the height setting of a support harness of a rucksack with a view, in particular, to the adjustment of the position of the belt on the rucksack as a function of data such as the shape of the wearer. - According to the invention, it consists of at least and preferably two vertical linear elements (7, 7'), arranged in an integral manner on the rear face (3) of the rucksack, located opposite the back of the wearer, and the rear or back part (5) of the belt (4) is attached to the said face of the rucksack, being mounted so as to slide along the said linear element (7, 7'), the back part (5) of the belt (4) thus being displaceable in terms of height along the said face of the rucksack. - The invention applies to the carrying of rucksacks. <IMAGE>
