[origin: EP0405115A1] The latch opener (10) for knitting machines, which has a flat brush (11/12) mounted pivotably about an axis (17) extending perpendicularly to its direction of movement, is coupled individually or severally to a control member (20') for its positive adjustment into a pivoting position.
