Abstract (en)

A plant for packaging short fibres in small packages of about 5 to 25 kg is described. The packaging plant has at least one filling chamber (2, 4) which is movable between a bag feeding and filling station (12, 14) and a press station (18). In the bag feeding station (12) a bag (20) is turned up over the lower open end of the filling chamber and in the filling station (14) a predetermined amount of short fibres is then fed into the filling chamber. In the press station (18) the contents of the bag (20b) are precompressed by means of a plunger (24) and a counterplunger (28) arranged thereunder in the filling chamber and finally compressed in a stationary press chamber (32). Subsequently, the upper end of the bag is sealed by means of a bag closing device (34). <IMAGE>

Abstract (de)

Beschrieben wird eine Verpackungsanlage für Kurzschnittfasern in Kleingebinden von ca. 5 bis 25 kg. Die Verpackungsanlage besitzt mindestens eine Füllkammer (2, 4), die zwischen einer Sackanlege- und Füllstation (12, 14) und einer Preßstation (18) bewegbar ist. In der Sackanlegestation (12) wird über das untere offene Ende der Füllkammer ein Sack (20) gestülpt, und in der Füllstation (14) wird dann eine vorgegebene Menge der Kurzschnittfasern in die Füllkammer eingefüllt. In der Preßstation (18) wird der Sackinhalt (20b) mit Hilfe eines Preßstempels (24) und eines darunter angeordneten Gegenstempels (28) in der Füllkammer vorverdichtet und in einer stationären Preßkammer (32) endverdichtet. Anschließend wird das obere Ende des Sackes mittels einer Sackschließvorrichtung (34) verschlossen.
