[origin: EP0405493A1] A continuous dryer for ceramic parisons includes a tunnel with two or four tracks for a chain conveyor and a height-adjustable nozzles between air inlet duct and drying space. The nozzle height adjustment for any one track can be effected independent of the other tracks. Pref. a tunnel (10) with a steel structure (12) and heat insulation slabs (14) has a drying space (16) separate from the hot air duct (18) which is joined to a blower (42) and a heater (44). Conveyor chains (26) around the sprockets (24) carry cradles (28) for four tracks (32, 34,36,38). The nozzles (50) can be height-adjusted to suit by turning the shafts (52) for the ropes (58).
