[origin: EP0405519A2] Sealing ledge for roller doors which is insertable in a retaining ledge arranged in the lintel region above the door aperture and acts sealingly upon the roller door armouring and has a plastic ledge profile which is provided with a roller door armouring engagement surface, which is closed to this extent, is designed with low frictional resistance and is pre-arched in cross-section towards the roller door armouring, and is constructed so as to follow with the said engagement surface the roller door armouring formations, being elastically flexible in the direction of the formation of the lintel mounting under the effect of a low force component occurring in the particular direction of movement of the roller door armouring, as a result of which a better sealing action is achieved at a low production cost and overturning of the lower door leaf armouring end due to backpressure is avoided.
