Abstract (en)
The device for supporting and transporting a stack of sheets of glass (1) comprises a base (2) receiving this stack by the edges of the sheets of glass. The base (2) carries two spaced bars (9) substantially parallel to its edges (10) perpendicular to the back surface (4), these bars (9) being mounted in an articulated manner on the base (2) to be able to pivot between a position in which they rest on the base (2) and a position in which they extend to a variable height above the base (2). Use in particular for supporting and transporting window glasses for motor vehicles. <IMAGE>

Le dispositif pour supporter et transporter un empilement de feuilles de verre (1) comporte une base (2) recevant cet empilement par la tranche des feuilles de verre. La base (2) porte deux barres espacées (9) sensiblement parallèles à ses bords (10) perpendiculaires à la paroi dorsale (4), ces barres (9) étant montées de façon articulée à la base (2) pour pouvoir pivoter entre une position dans laquelle elles reposent sur la base (2) et une position dans laquelle elles s'étendent à une hauteur variable au-dessus de la base (2). Utilisation notamment pour supporter et transporter des vitrages pour automobile.
