[origin: EP0406121A2] The device for supporting and transporting a stack of sheets of glass (1) comprises a base (2) receiving this stack by the edges of the sheets of glass. The base (2) carries two spaced bars (9) substantially parallel to its edges (10) perpendicular to the back surface (4), these bars (9) being mounted in an articulated manner on the base (2) to be able to pivot between a position in which they rest on the base (2) and a position in which they extend to a variable height above the base (2).
