Abstract (en)
[origin: JPH0338347A] PURPOSE: To obtain an intaglio printing machine easy to register between constituting members inked to a safe background and main design printable by once passage of an intaglio printing of a currency paper by forming the machine N times (N is an integer of 1 to 3) of a diameter of a plate cylinder in diameter of a collector inking cylinder. CONSTITUTION: The intaglio printing machine comprises an impression cylinder 3, a plate cylinder 4 having the same diameter as that of the cylinder 3 to mutually operate to one another, and a collector inking cylinder 5 brought into contact with the cylinder 4. The cylinder 4 has uniformly distributed several engraving intaglio plates. For example, the plate 4 has three plates. The cylinder 5 having an elastic surface has the same diameter as that of the cylinder 4, and similarly has three blankets to the cylinder 3. A diameter of the cylinder 5 can be formed twice or three times as that of the cylinder 5. Thus, a wider space for mounting much further color inking cylinders and inking unit is given. In this case, number of the blankets of the cylinder 5 is twice or three times as that of the plates of the cylinder 4.
