The object of the invention is the development of an automatic winding machine, the processing capacity of which is in keeping with the high output of freshly spun cops of spinning machines. <??>The solution according to the invention provides the arrangement of a plurality of preparatory devices directly on transport tracks. These transport tracks form part of the feedpath to the winding machine, on which the pallets (1) having freshly spun cops (2) are transported. Aufgabe der Erfindung ist die Entwicklung einer automatischen Spulmaschine, die in ihrer Verarbeitungskapazität dem hohen Ausstoß von spinnfrischen Kopsen von Spinnmaschinen gerecht wird. Die erfindungsgemäße Lösung sieht die Anordnung mehrerer Vorbereitungseinrichtungen direkt an Transportbahnen vor. Diese Transportbahnen bilden einen Teil des Zuführweges zur Spulmaschine, auf dem die Paletten (1) mit spinnfrischen Kopsen (2) transportiert werden. Die Vorbereitungseinrichtungen besitzen Mittel, um die Paletten auf dem jeweiligen Transportband anzuhalten.
