[origin: EP0406547A2] The invention relates to a shelf support for shelves, display cases or cabinets having a frame consisting, for example of profiled sections, which frame can be detachably connected to at least one of the profiled sections. A clamping body is provided which can be inserted into a recess of the profiled section, is connected by pressure to a portion of the shelf projecting into the recess, and retains said shelf in the recess.
