Abstract (en)
The subject-matter of the invention is a cartridge album which is intended especially for stamps and comprises an album leaf ring file in a slipcase. The prior art comprises such an album, in which a ring-binding mechanism is attached to the back of a book case, whose front cover closes the ring file. The disadvantage of this mechanism arrangement is the relatively small volume capacity for album leaves with a particular thickness of the latter and particular back width. The object of the invention is therefore an enlargement of the volume capacity whilst maintaining the slipcase. This object is achieved by omitting the front cover of the book case and by connecting the mechanism rings remote from its back to the rear cover of the book case. The advantage of this solution is the approximately 50% increase in the number of album leaves which can be accommodated in the ring file. Additionally, the book back can be opened out away from the rings and used as a pulling tab. <IMAGE>

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein insbesondere für Briefmarken bestimmtes Kassettenalbum aus einem Albumblätter-Ringbuch (10) in einem Schuber (14). Stand der Technik ist ein solches Album, bei dem eine Ringbindemechanik am Rücken einer Einbanddecke befestigt ist, deren vorderer Deckel das Ringbuch schließt. Nachteil dieser Mechanik-Anordnung ist das relativ geringe Fassungsvermögen für Albumblätter bei bestimmter Dicke derselben und bestimmter Rückenbreite. Aufgabe der Erfindung ist daher eine Vergrößerung des Fassungsvermögens bei gleichbleibendem Schuber. Lösung dieser Aufgabe ist das Weglassen des vorderen Deckels der Einbanddecke (16,10) und die Verbindung der von deren Rücken (20) entfernten Mechanikringe (22.1) mit dem hinteren Deckel (16) des Einbands. Vorteil dieser Lösung ist die ungefähr 50 %-ige Vergrößerung der Anzahl der in das Ringbuch aufnehmbaren Albumblätter (12). Außerdem kann der Buchrücken von den Ringen (22.1) weggeklappt und als Zuglasche gebraucht werden.
