Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0406566A1] A rotary handle, especially a plastic window handle (10), has a handle main part (14) and a handle neck (12) which receives an actuating square (B). A stop plate (30) has a central bush (34) for guiding the handle neck which is mounted rotatably and axially fixedly in the latter and which engages resiliently in the circumferential and axial directions (U; A) with an extension (18), engagement being possible easily, but disengagement being possible only with the aid of a tool. At its chamfered bead end of the extension (18), axis-parallel slots (24) can terminate in front of a shoulder (16) of the handle neck (12). The stop plate (30) has mutually opposite springs (35) with catch noses (36), to which complementary catch notches are assigned at angular spacings of, for example, 90 DEG on the circumference of the handle-neck extension (18). A cover plate (40) which can lift resiliently off from the stop plate (30) and which is pivotable about the handle-neck axis can be in one piece with a flexural spring (44), arcs (46), legs or the like projecting upwards along the longitudinal side of the cover plate (40) being supported on a shoulder (16) of the handle neck (12). <IMAGE>
