The invention relates to an oil-sealed pre-vacuum pump on which the receiver is protected against aeration in the event of the pump being shut down in that in this state its expansion chamber is sealed vacuum tight on the atmosphere side. In order to achieve shutting off of the oil supply by the simplest possible means when the vacuum pump stops and at the same time to be able to precisely meter and shut off the gas supply necessary for silencing, an auxiliary pump 2 on the pump shaft is proposed which draws in oil through separate intake ducts 4 and 5, mixes it and forces it into the expansion chamber of the vacuum pump via a spring-loaded valve 7. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Erfindung betrifft eine ölgedichtete Vorvakuumpumpe, bei der die Sicherung gegen Belüftung des Rezipienten bei Stillstand der Pumpe dadurch erreicht wird, daß ihr Schöpfraum auf der Atmosphärenseite in diesem Zustand vakuumdicht verschlossen wird. Um für die Absperrung der Ölzufuhr bei Stillstand der Vakuumpumpe mit einfachsten Mitteln auszukommen und gleichzeitig die für die Geräuschdämpfung notwendige Gaszufuhr genau dosieren und ebenfalls absperren zu können, ist auf der Pumpenwelle eine Hilfspumpe 2 vorgesehen, die über getrennte Ansaugkanäle 4 und Öl 5 ansaugt, mischt und über ein federbelastetes Ventil 7 in den Schöpfraum der Vakuumpumpe drückt.
