[origin: EP0407295A1] Method for observing the execution of an application program (APP) loaded into a computer system, characterised in that: - by means of sensors 32, a process unobtrusively picks off items of data concerning the program in the course of execution (APP) and its computer operating context; - the items of data are memorised according to a pre-established grid in a state table (TE) incorporated in an observation memory (MO); - access to the state table (TE) is authorised, especially in read mode, to programs which are external to the observed program (SER).
