An intermediate bearing (1) for a window, door of the like, having at least one wing (4) pivoting about a vertical axis, comprises a stationary plate (6) fixed to the frame (2) and provided with a slot (17), into which engages a catch finger (18) of a moveable element (7) fixed to the wing (4). <??>So that the position of the joint can be changed and so as thus to make it possible to adjust the compressive force exerted on the seal arranged on the periphery of the rebate of the frame, this intermediate bearing comprises means of articulation (18, 31, 48) adjustable for the purpose of changing the catching zone (38) between the moveable element (7) and the stationary plate (6) perpendicularly to the upright of the frame (2). <IMAGE>

Un palier intermédiaire (1) pour fenêtre, porte ou analogue présentant au moins un ouvrant (4) pivotant autour d'un axe vertical, comporte une semelle fixe (6) solidaire du dormant (2) et pourvue d'une lumière (17) dans laquelle s'engage un doigt d'accrochage (18) d'un élément mobile (7) solidaire de l'ouvrant (4). De manière à pouvoir modifier la position de l'articulation et, ainsi, rendre possible le réglage de la force de compression exercée sur le joint disposé sur la périphérie de la feuillure du dormant, ce palier intermédiaire comporte des moyens d'articulation réglables (18, 31, 48) en vue de modifier, perpendiculairement au montant du dormant (2), la zone d'accrochage (38) entre l'élément mobile (7) et la semelle fixe (6).
