[origin: EP0369392A2] Absorbent mattress cover consisting of at least two layers, the first of which, in contact with the mattress, is essentially impermeable to liquids and the second of which, superimposed on the first, is an absorbent layer which absorbs liquids. The layer essentially impermeable to liquids consists of a sheet which is highly permeable to water vapour.

Protège-matelas absorbant comportant au moins deux couches dont la première, en contact avec le matelas, est essentiellement imperméable aux liquides et dont la seconde, superposée à la première, sert de couche absorbante qui recueille les liquides. La couche essentiellement imperméable aux liquides consiste en une feuille très perméable à la vapeur d'eau.
