[origin: EP0407732A1] In an open-end spinning device (1), a fibre feed channel (3) extends from a housing (4) having a rotatable opening roller (40) to a spinning element (10). The fibre feed channel (3) consists of two part channels (30) and (31) which are moveable relative to one another and which can be brought into alignment with one another. The first part channel (30) is located in an insert (32) of the housing (4) and is guided axially movably in the housing (4). The insert (32) is loaded in the direction of the second part channel (31) by an elastic element (450) and, at its end facing the interior of the housing (4), is covered by a diaphragm (43) at least downstream in relation to the direction of rotation (P) of the opening roller (40).
