Abstract (en)

In order to dispose of sticky sludges in an environmentally friendly manner during the drying process and not to deposit them as aqueous solutions on special waste dumps, it is proposed according to the invention to apply the moist sludge (5) to a carrier material band (8) and then convey it through a drying furnace (3). In the drying furnace (3), the volatile components are dried out of the sludge (5). In this connection, the sludge (5) dries and adheres to the carrier material band (8, 9) to form a solid unit. This unit can then be disposed of without problems or used as foundation for sports grounds, roads or the like. <IMAGE>

Abstract (de)

Um während des Trocknungsprozesses klebende Schlämme umweltfreundlich zu entsorgen und nicht als wässerige Lösungen auf Sondermülldeponien abzulagern, wird erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagen, den feuchten Schlamm (5) auf ein Trägermaterialband (8) aufzutragen und dann durch einen Trocknungsofen (3) zu schicken. In dem Trocknungsofen (3) werden die flüchtigen Bestandteile aus dem Schlamm (5) ausgetrocknet. Hierbei trocknet der Schlamm (5) und verklebt mit dem Trägermaterialband (8, 9) zu einer festen Einheit. Diese Einheit kann dann problemlos entsorgt werden oder als Unterlage für Sportplätze, Wege o.ä. verwendet werden.
