Abstract (en)
This cable is of the type comprising a jacket (6a-6b), made from flexible and deformable material, surrounding at least one electricity-conducting bundle (4) while providing around this bundle an annular channel (7) for the fluid to circulate, connection terminals fixed to the ends of the conductive portion and a rotating seal enabling the jacket to rotate with respect to one of the terminals. According to the invention, this rotating seal (8) is disposed, away from one of the terminals, on one of the two portions of the cable which are substantially vertical when this cable is in a service position and in the gap between two jacket sections, namely a long section, of constant length, and a short section for adjusting the total length of the cable, this rotating seal (8) being composed of two tubular sleeves (9-10) each having a portion (12) for the connection to one of the ends (6a-6b) of a jacket section and a mutual junction portion together with, on the one hand, fluid-tight (24) and dust-tight (18) seals and, on the other hand, linkage means (15-20) for longitudinal translational movement. <IMAGE>

Ce câble est du type comprenant une gaine (6a-6b) en matériau, souple et déformable, enveloppant au moins un faisceau (4) conducteur de l'électricité en ménageant autour de ce faisceau un canal annulaire (7) pour la circulation du fluide, des cosses de raccordement fixées aux extrémités de la partie conductrice et un joint tournant permettant la rotation de la gaine par rapport à l'une des cosses. Selon l'invention, ce joint tournant (8) est disposé à distance de l'une des cosses, sur l'une des deux parties du câble qui sont sensiblement verticales lorsque ce câble est en position d'utilisation et dans l'intervalle entre deux tronçons de gaine, à savoir un tronçon long, de longueur constante, et un tronçon court d'ajustement à la longueur totale du câble, ce joint tournant (8) étant composé de deux manchons tubulaires (9-10) présentant chacun une partie (12) pour le raccordement à l'une des extrémités (6a-6b) d'un tronçon de gaine et une partie de jonction réciproque avec, d'une part, joints d'étanchéité au fluide (24) et à la poussière (18) et d'autre part, des moyens (15-20) de liaison en translation longitudinale.
