[origin: JPH03115067A] PURPOSE: To fairly increase the accuracy, to simplify the system, and to reduce the cost by achieving the cyclic repetition of bringing a contact element to a trailing edge of a printed product which is moved passing the contact element, generating the counting pulse at the contact, and returning the contact element to the starting position. CONSTITUTION: Printed products Dk which are partially overlapped and fed by a scale or a flake flow are carried in the carrying direction to be instructed at the speed v1 , a contact element K is moved at the speed v2 higher than the carrying speed v1 , and brought to a contact with a trailing edge of the printed product Dk or a fold Fk. Then, the terminating position of the contact element K is displaced in the carrying direction by the distance H from the starting position. The contact element K is returned to the starting position, and the counting process is re-started.

Zum Zählen von in einem Schuppenstrom geförderten Druckprodukten (D) wird ein Kontaktelement (K) mit einer höheren Geschwindigkeit (v2) als die Fördergeschwindigkeit (v1) in Förderrichtung der Druckprodukte bewegt. Dadurch wird das Kontaktelement (K) jeweils mit der Hinterkante (Fk) eines Druckproduktes (Dk) in Berührung gebracht, wobei bei jeder Berührung ein Zählimpuls ausgelöst und das Kontaktelement anschliessend wieder in seine Ausgangsposition zurückgeführt wird. Dieser Vorgang wird in Korrelation zum mittleren zeitlichen Abstand zwischen zwei aufeinanderfolgenden Druckproduckten (Dk, Dk+1) zyklisch wiederholt. <IMAGE>
